Our Company...
Revelation Theatre is focused on creating original plays and performances, while always exploring the possibilities of physical movement in storytelling. Beginning with an outline of ideas & themes we develop scripts in a rehearsal process with our cast of actors and our designers.
David Oliver - Founder / Artistic Director ( www.davidolivertheater.com )
David Oliver ~ Began his training as an actor at HB Studio in NYC in the late 70's, followed by a move to England to attend the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. After a two-year acting course at LAMDA, he stayed and worked in London, working in theatre and television.
After returning to the States, David was Associate Artistic Director of Buffalo's Theatre of Youth ('85 - '88). He also served as Associate Director at Torn Space Theater from 2011 to 2014.
David has founded Revelation Theatre to focus on creating new original works, exploring physical movement in storytelling, and developing unique immersive performances. Also very important to the company is our Educational Outreach Program.
