A stunning one-woman performance!

The Ithaca Times - October 2023

Mara Neimanis in AIR HEART #3.JPG

"Neimanis climbs, spins, and nestles into the plane in ways at once athletic and poetic. Air Heart is a flight well worth taking"

                                                                 ~ The Baltimore Sun

"Neimanis makes the impossible look supremely easy as she uses her muscular grace to emphasize the aviator's unblinking courage, her madness for flight, and her accomplishments on the ground advocating for women's right."
                                                                        ~ The Washington Post

This expressive and innovative one woman performance channels Amelia Earhart on the ground and in the air, in this highly physical exploration of her rise and fall as an adventurer and feminist icon.

Daring acrobatics are performed atop a 13 foot spinning airplane sculpture by aerial-actor Mara Neimanis as she brings to life the legendary aviatrix, Ameila Earhart, who disappeared trying to fly around the world. Through original script, historical fact, and poetic aerialism, Air Heart is a theatre journey into the joy and risks of challenging limits, finding levity, and being lost in the mystery of flight.
